Paper 5成绩占整个A-level成绩的11.5%。
下面就来给大家介绍Paper5的答题规范和技巧，希望你这周的考试能顺顺利利的：
1. Defining the problem
分值：2分。
解题思路：首先要确定independent variable以及dependent variable。可以先看给出的表达式，一般等式右边是independent variable，等式左边是dependent variable。
找出constant variable。这需要先对题目有一定理解，然后看表达式找，这部分可以答多，但不要答错。constant variable通常在第四部分中detail也有分值。
2. Methods of data collection
分值：4分。
常用仪器：这部分主要是数据的测量。下面总结了一些常用的测量仪器：
Meter Rule–Length
Micrometer–Diameter
Tips: Take different places to get mean:if uniform – different places along the object；if non-uniform–different places around the object
Stopwatch–time
Velocity–Light gate
Tips: Meter rule for two lengths and draw a diagram to measure tan这个有两分
Tips: if uniform [V/d]；if non-uniform – use test charge [F/q]
Thermal meter – Temperature
Cathode-ray oscilloscope – 纵向Peak value [V/I/displacement] – 横向[Period/frequency]
Frequency – use different AC power supply
Force – mass
第二部分还需要注意的地方就是，在测量的过程中，需要多次测量取平均值，并且最好在写完测量部分之后，再进行画图
3. Methods fo analysis
分值：3分。
解题思路：第三部分为数据处理，需要画图来表示dependent variable随independent variable的变化。因此首先需要处理关系式，画出一条直线，答题步骤为：
Plot a graph of y against x
Make sure the relationship valid if a straight line is displayed.
Pass through the origin. / does not pass through the origin

写清楚y-intercept等于什么，代表什么物理意义
4. Additional detail including safety considerations
分值：6分。
解题思路：最后一部分要从两个方面来答题，即safety precautions和details。
safety precaution可以从以下几个角度回答：
Be careful with the mass – prevent hitting toes/ use cushion
Heat–use rubber gloves
Strong light/ 液体飞溅/ 绳子或弹簧断裂 – googles/ safety screen
声音太响–use ear plugs
防止触电–use rubber gloves
针对不同的实验，details可以从以下几个角度回答：
光学实验–dark environment
声音实验–quiet environment
高度–set-square method for vertical height
Mark the position
Make sure the initial velocity is zero
Clean the surface
Use plumb line to make sure vertical
Use a variable resistor/ rheostat to keep the resistance measured constant
Use a protect resistor to protect the circuit
Make the value stable and then record the reading
Increase the number of coil to increase induced e.m.f.
Increase the current to increase the magnetic flux density
Use a stand to stabilize the equipment
Question 2 — 数据处理
第二道实验题为数据处理题目，考点通常如下：
在算uncertainty时，significant figures与题目保持一致或多留一位，uncertainty与true value的decimal place保持一致;
最小值&最大值与true value的偏离；
Best-fit line应当实线加粗；
Worst-acceptable应当虚线加粗 ；
画图时应严格在plot范围以内；
画三角形取gradient 三角形要大，取点并标注ABCD；
分别算gradient of best-fit line & gradient of worst-acceptable line；
Gradient uncertainty=gradient of best-fit line – gradient of worst-acceptable line。

Tips: Hall probe must be perpendicular to the magnetic field；Hall probe connected to voltmeter
